APPLICANTS ARE BEING SOUGHT FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:

1 POSITION ON THE COLLEGEVILLE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT FOR

COMPENSATION: None; if out-of town trips necessary, may be reimbursed for actual and necessary expenses
LEGAL AUTHORITY: Fire Protection District Law of 1961 (Part 2.7 of Div. 12 of Health and Safety Code commencing with Sec. 13801)
MEMBERSHIP, QUALIFICATIONS, & RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS: 5 Members of the Board of Directors must live within the Fire District. Appointments are made by the Board of Supervisors
TERM: 4 Year Terms
DUTIES: To extinguish fires, set policy for the District, provide maintenance of equipment and purchases thereof
MEETING DATE & LOCATION: 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Fire Station at the Northwest corner of Jack Tone and Mariposa Roads.

1 POSITION ON THE LODI COMMUNITY CENTER ADVISORY BOARD FOR

COMPENSATION: No per diem or actual expenses
LEGAL AUTHORITY: Non-Mandated citizen advisory group established by the Coutny Community Agency (CAA). Board Order B-88-865 dated 6/21/88, established the compostion of the advisory body and defined the terms of office for the members of the advisory group.
MEMBERSHIP, QUALIFICATIONS, & RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS: 7 Members appointed by the Board of Supervisors. All members must reside in the Lodi Community Center service area (North: County Line; South: 8 Mile Road; East: County Line; West: County Line) & be at least 16 years of age. 4 Members must be low-income residents; 2 Members are representatives of community service organizations or groups which operate in the center's service area; 1 Member is an At-large appointee interested in community action & concerned about the problems of poverty. The membership should represent, to the extent possible, a mix of age, ethnicity and sex reflecting the population of the community center service area
TERM: 3 year terms
DUTIES: A) To assist CAA in needs assessments B) To advise CAA in setting program priorities C) Participate in the development of annual work program D) To review and comment on proposed projects and policies E) To participate in evaluating center programs. F) To play an effective role in the coordination of services at the local level. G) To assist in mobilization of community resources H) To serve as a community link to CAA Board Directors regarding problems and needs of the poor in the service area I) To serve as an advocate for the low-income community of the service area
