District 3 Staff Karen Lee Jang serves as Victor Mow’s Legislative
Assistant. She has worked for the
County of San Joaquin for 35 years, two in the Board of Supervisor's Office
and 33 of those previously working in the
Revenue & Recovery Division of the Treasurer & Tax Collector’s Office.
Karen will retire on December 31, 2008 when Supervisor Mow's term in office
ends. Karen had been involved with the Chinese Folk Dance Troupe of Stockton and other
community events for many years. She
is a life-long resident of Stockton and is a member of St. Mark’s Methodist
Church. She is a family oriented
person who likes to spend time with her husband, Howard, their three children,
Jason, Jeren and Jorie and their families. Howard and Karen have two
