County Commission on Aging. Mr.
Sonnefeld thanked Chairman Vogel for attending their last Commission on Aging
meeting. Mr. Sonnefeld expressed his
concern on how senior citizens will be affected by the budget process. Lastly, Mr. Sonnefeld read a resolution
passed by the Commission on Aging on March 3, 2008 requesting that the Board of
Supervisors be prepared to seek and use funds from various sources to compensate
for the shortage of funds to the Department of Aging for the sustaining,
maintaining, protection and caring for senior citizens of

BOARD
OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS
Supervisor Gutierrez
commented that the restrooms should be kept clean during the time events are
scheduled at the Arch Road Sports Complex.
Supervisor Gutierrez also requested new FEMA Floodplain Maps and asked
for a staff report on what budget impacts, if any, will have on Students in
Prevention of the Office of Substance Abuse.
Chairman Vogel
introduced Mark Fitzgerald, an 8th grade student who is interested
in politics. In addition to spending
time with Chairman Vogel and attending the Board Meeting, Mark also attended a
Town Hall Meeting.
