Featuring Public Health and Human Services Agency. Clerk of the Board Lois Sahyoun read the
proclamation.
Public Health - Proclamation Proclaiming April 7-13,
2008 as "Public Health Week" and Presentation by Bill Mitchell,
Director of Public Health. Chairman Vogel presented the proclamation to Public
Health Director Bill Mitchell.
Mr. Mitchell recognized Tim Viall, Executive Director of the Greater
Stockton Emergency Food Bank, and John Reynolds, Executive Director of the
Stockton Shelter for the Homeless, who have contributed significantly to the
public health of

Human Services Agency - Proclamation
Proclaiming April 2008 as "Child Abuse Prevention Month" and
Presentation by David Erb, Deputy Director, Children's Services. Chairman Vogel
presented the proclamation to Dave Erb, Deputy Director, Children’s Services,
Human Services Agency. Mr. Erb
highlighted all Children Services Bureau services relating to Protecting Our
Children.
Chairman Vogel
recognized Deputy Sheriff Wayne Lowery who had recently retired. He has now returned as a part-time Deputy
Sheriff and will be assigned to the Board of Supervisors meetings.
