PRESENTATIONS

9:00 a.m. - bos - Recognition of Public Defender James L. Larsen.  On behalf of the Board, Chairman Vogel presented Mr. Larsen with two plaques.  Mr. Larsen addressed the Board.    Supervisors Mow and Gutierrez thanked Mr. Larsen for his contributions and service to San Joaquin County.

9:00 a.m. - bos - Proclamation Proclaiming February 1, 2008 as National Wear Red Day.  On behalf of the Board, Chairman Vogel presented the proclamation to Gloria Nomura, Julie Whitehouse and Cathy Mendoza.  Ms. Nomura addressed the Board.

Lee Owens had completed a Public Comment Form but was not present at the meeting.

Nereida Ortiz’s daughter read a letter dated January 29, 2008, addressed to the Board from her mother regarding a complaint of Code Enforcement. 

ToCan Nguyen addressed the Board.

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS

Chairman Vogel reported that he attended a meeting on Thursday, January 24, 2008, in Suisun City regarding Highway 12.
