Tom Orvis of the San
Joaquin Farm Bureau Federation addressed Board thanked the Board for their
support of the Ag Venture Program and reminded them of the event at the Manteca
School of Farm scheduled for October 24 and October 25. Mr. Orvis also informed the Board of the
Agriculture Hall of Fame dinner on the evening of October 25 at the Civic
Auditorium. Lastly, Mr. Orvis informed
the Board of a scheduled tour on October 31 of the recycling business in

Chairman Mow commented on the bones that were discovered at the construction
site of the new administration building.
