PRESENTATION

9:00 a.m. -       bos - Donation from Prima Noce-Packing to Mary Graham Children’s Shelter Foundation and Micke Grove Zoological Society.  Mike Garliepp of Prima Noce-Packing presented a monetary donation to John Vera of the Mary Graham Children’s Shelter Foundation and to Bob Westwood of the Micke Grove Zoological Society.   

9:00 a.m. -       eeoc - Presentation of Certificate of Completion to Mentor Partnership Program.  Board Members presented certificates to mentors and mentees.  Robin Moore, EEO Program Manager, gave an overview of the Mentor Partnership Program.

1.         pw - Adoption of a Resolution Opposing the Peripheral Canal. Public Works Director Tom Flinn and Dr. Mel Lytle briefed the Board on this matter. Kevin Kaufffman, San Joaquin East Water District General Manager,  Dante John Nomellini, Manager and Co-Counsel of the South Delta Water Agency, John Herrick, South Water Delta Agency, and Tom Zuckerman addressed the Board on this matter.  Approved.  Gutierrez/Vogel/5   R-07-534

Debra Girley addressed the Board regarding the Duck Creek cleanup.

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS

Supervisor Ornellas informed the Board of a recent successful clothing drive for the homeless veterans.  He thanked the County Public Information Officer for putting together the flyer and the Stockton Shelter for the Homeless for their support.
