Deputy Kim Poeun and Deputy Ezquiel Pena from the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s
Department for Training at the Front Sight Firearms Training Institute in
Nevada. Supervisor Ornellas requested
that Sheriff Steve Moore and John and Denise Holbrook join him at the
podium. Clerk of the Board Lois Sahyoun read
background information on the Holbrook Family Law Enforcement Scholarship. Mr.
Holbrook addressed the Board and presented scholarships to Sheriff Deputies Kim
Poeun and Ezequiel Pena.
Sheriff Steve Moore
introduced Dr. Bennet I. Omalu, recently hired by Health Care Services for the
Department of Surgery, Pathology Division.
