Consent Item:               #18 – Facilities Management Director Director Craig Ogata responded to questions from Board Members. Greg James, President, and Gilbert Rosas, of Direct Digital Controls, Inc., and County Counsel Terrence Dermody addressed the Board on this matter.  The item was postponed to January 23, 2007 and County Counsel was directed to review the contract. The Board also requested that submit their issues in writing by the end of the working day of January 17, 2007 to the Facilities Management Director.

3.                  ag/comm - Resolution Establishing Agricultural Inspection Requirements for International Flights at the Stockton Metropolitan Airport. 4.                  air - Approval of Customs and Border Protection Memorandum of Agreement and Report Regarding Aeromexico Letter Agreement. 6.                  cao - Approval to Proceed with the Proposed Courthouse Mural Project & Related Budget Adjustments. County Administrator Manuel Lopez briefed the Board on this matter.  The Board approved a $1,000 stipend each, for the development of four mural proposals, for a total of $4,000, which will be funded through Supervisorial District One discretionary funds. BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS

Supervisor Ornellas requested a report from staff on the effects of the freeze on the crops in San Joaquin County.

Chairman Mow stated that meetings with the various departments of the county would be scheduled shortly.
