9:00 a.m. -       cdd - Report on the Stockton Metropolitan Airport and Surrounding Proposed Developments. (All Districts)  Community Development Director Kerry Sullivan gave an oral presentation to the Board on this matter.  Airport Director Barry Rondinella, Dana Cowell, Deputy Director of the San Joaquin Council of Governments, Arthur Coon, French Camp Investments, Rick Tutt, Chairman of the San Joaquin County Aviation Committee, Carol Ford representing the California Pilots Association and John Pfeifer, California Regional Representative for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, addressed the Board on this matter.  The Board accepted the report and directed the  Community Development Department to return to the Board on     September 26, 2000 with more detailed options for the creation of an airport protective zone.  Mow/Gutierrez/5  B-06-961

PUBLIC COMMENT

Michelle Rogers, a retired nurse from Public Health, addressed the Board regarding an acupuncture clinic to be under the umbrella of Behavioral Health.  Chairman Marenco requested the County Administrator to arrange a meeting with Ms. Rogers and Health Care Services Director Ken Cohen as well as Dr. Teresa Chen.
