The Board voted to place on the agenda the Resolution Proclaiming Existence of Local Emergency for Extreme Heat Event.     Sieglock/Ornellas/5  B-06-838

Director of Emergency Operations Ron Baldwin, Agricultural Commissioner Scott Hudson and Public Works Director Tom Flinn addressed the Board on this matter and responded to questions and comments from Board Members.  The Board approved the resolution.  Mow/Ornellas/5  R-06-445

Reverend Bob Hailey and ToCan Nguyen addressed the Board.

 

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS

Supervisor Gutierrez informed the Board that he and Supervisor Ornellas toured five to six properties for housing for migrant farm workers.  This would be a combined effort with the Housing Authority.
