Sieglock, Mow and Ornellas regarding the specifications of the refrigerator
freezer, the amount of food distributed,
and the meaning of duplicate count.
Supervisor Gutierrez thanked Mr. Chelli for his assistance on this

business, and if this was a situation where the county could lease out to a

Titan (4x4) Aircraft Rescue fire-Fighting vehicle for the Airport Safety
Division at the Stockton Metropolitan Airport.

ToCan Nguyen addressed the Board.
BOARD
OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS
Supervisor Ornellas received a copy of a letter addressed to the Chairman
from the Farm Bureau asking that they be appointed the organization responsible
for building the official San Joaquin County Exhibit at the 2006 State
Fair. Last year the county contributed
$2,500. County Administrator Manuel
Lopez stated that this matter would be placed on an upcoming agenda for action
by the Board.
Supervisor Sieglock informed the Board of the news that the air district
is in compliance in PM10 standards and that we are making progress in cleaning
up the air in the eight-county district which includes
Supervisor Sieglock stated that COG is requesting that the Board adopt
the Measure K Renewal Expenditure Plan.
He requested that the matter be placed on the agenda prior to the next
COG meeting. Supervisor Sieglock felt
that the matter should be on the agenda by May 23. Supervisor Gutierrez said that he recently
spoke with Chairman Marenco regarding this matter. Chairman Marenco had indicated that he was
okay with this item being agendized.
Supervisor Sieglock requested an update report on the hospital
finances. Vice Chairman Mow also
concurred that it is time to receive a report.
