PUBLIC COMMENT

Woody Alspaugh addressed the Board on various matters.

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS

Chairman Marenco commented that Supervisor Gutierrez had previously requested a joint meeting with the Stockton City Council and the Board to discuss sewer and water services at the Stockton Metropolitan Airport site.  After some discussion, the Board selected Tuesday, February 21, at 1:00 p.m. for such a meeting.

Supervisor Gutierrez requested information regarding the Tidewater Crossing Master Development Plan in which the Airport Director has been communicating with City of Stockton.  Supervisor Mow stated that he was not sure if this proposal is within City limits or involves an annexation, and that the Board should review the proposal.  Supervisor Sieglock pointed out that perhaps the Board should discuss more than water and sewer prior to its meeting with the City.  He suggested February 7.  Chairman Marenco stated that the Board would have a preliminary discussion on February 7, 2006.

Supervisor Mow inquired as to when the matter of archiving and destroying of public records be brought to the Board.  County Administrator Manuel Lopez stated that the matter is to come before the Board on February 14, 2006.
