BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS

Supervisor Marenco referred to a news article from The Record dated 10/11/05 regarding “Relief not getting to evacuees.”  He said the article stated that the Executive Director of the San Joaquin County Chapter of the Red Cross did not have any estimates of how much money has been donated in San Joaquin County.  Supervisor Marenco added that he hoped the Red Cross Executive Director will come back to the Board of Supervisors and report on the monies collected from our area.

Supervisor Ornellas informed the Board of CSAC Counties’ Leadership Letter dated 10/6/05 regarding the County Counsels Association of California naming its officers for the upcoming year.  Assistant County Counsel David Wooten of our county was named to the Court Facilities Committee.
