DISCUSSION - GENERAL GOVERNMENT

1.                  cao - Process for the Selection and Appointment of the San Joaquin County District Attorney Position.  Approved Staff Recommendation and include the three alternatives outlined in the Board Letter.  On April 5, 2005 the Board will interview the finalists publicly.  Sieglock/Marenco/5

PUBLIC COMMENT

James Young addressed the Board on various matters.

Peggy Lopez addressed the Board regarding the Conservator’s Office.  Chairman Gutierrez referred Ms. Lopez to meet with his Legislative Assistant Carlos Villapudua.

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS

Supervisor Marenco requested the County Administrator to contact Kevin Riley who owns eight car washes and is experiencing a problem with computers, televisions and tires being trashed at his car wash sites.
