Supervisor Gutierrez commented on Local Agency Formation Commission zoning and annexations matters.  He wanted to know what do these type of annexations mean to county departments such as Public Works, Community Development Department, and the Sheriff’s Office.  Supervisor Gutierrez requested that the County Administrator meet with the Community Development and Public Works Department Directors and provide a report to the Board on what the county anticipates in a few years on these matters.

Supervisor Sieglock reported that he has received a number of telephone calls regarding illegal dumping in the unincorporated areas.  He subsequently met with county staff to discuss this problem.  Supervisor Sieglock commented that the current San Joaquin Ordinance is outdated.
