PUBLIC COMMENT
ToCan Nguyen addressed the Board on various matters.
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND
COMMENTS
Supervisor Gutierrez requested that the County Administrator provide more
information regarding the Revolving Loan Fund to the Board, i.e., the
objectives of the Revolving Loan Fund, are there any other issues that need to
be brought to the attention of the Board, how many jobs have been brought to
San Joaquin County as a result of the Revolving Loan Fund, and how many
one-person companies have received loans.
Supervisor Marenco requested that the information provided to the Board
include the origin of the sources of the funding for the Revolving Loan
Fund. Chairman Ornellas commented that
if the gentleman borrowing the funds is on the verge of being unemployed, then
why is he a Nevada corporation?
Supervisor Mow congratulated the City of Tracy and its citizens for a
successful Dry Bean Festival recently held in Tracy.
