Sandra Warnecke addressed the Board regarding various matters.
Greg Janvier addressed the Board regarding the Conservator’s Office. Chairman Ornellas advised Mr. Janvier that Supervisor Gutierrez recently received the information and directed Mr. Janvier to Supervisor Gutierrez’s office.
Reverend Bob Haley addressed the Board regarding the Mondez Denmon case and various matters.

Supervisor Gutierrez referred to a communication
the Board recently received from Public Defender Gerald L. Gleeson requesting
to fill two Public Defender positions.
County Administrator Manuel Lopez stated that his office was looking
into the matter in order to make a determination and recommendation to the
Board.

Supervisor Gutierrez also brought up a matter
that came before the Board through Mr. Cohen in regards to reduction. According to some information he received
from hospital staff, those reductions adversely affect the ability to provide
security service at the hospital grounds.
Supervisor Gutierrez wanted to know if the Sheriff’s Department could
assist in this area, and he requested that the County Administrator look into
this matter.
