DISCUSSION - GENERAL GOVERNMENT

1.                  rov - Report on the Secretary of State's Letter Dated November 21, 2003.  Deborah Hench, Registrar of Voters, addressed the Board on this matter. The Board accepted the report and authorized the Chairman to work with the County Registrar of Voters, and to sign any letters sent to the State regarding the new state rules.   Sieglock/Gutierrez/5  B-04-46

PUBLIC COMMENT

ToCan Nguyen addressed the Board on various matters.

Reverend Bob Hailey addressed the Board regarding the Grand Jury investigation open to the public concerning the Mondez Denmon case.

 

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS

Supervisor Mow requested that the County Administrator report back to the Board on the impacts the of the preliminary state budget on San Joaquin County and how we plan to address these impacts. 

County Administrator Manuel Lopez indicated that a report was being prepared for the Board’s consideration at their January 27, 2004 Board meeting.
