9:00 a.m. -       hsa - Acceptance of Donation in the Amount of $3,023.44 from Human Services Agency Employee Management Council to Mary Graham Children's Shelter. Presented by Ron Smith, Chairman for the Employee Management Council of the Human Services Agency.

Consent Item:                           #22  -  Chairman Sieglock stated that Supervisor Ornellas pointed out a typographical error on the first page of the Board Letter.  The amount should ready $117,316 and not $177,316.

Consent Item:                           #11 – Supervisor Gutierrez inquired about the formula used for the property being taken for the right-of-way and why there is such discrepancy among the different parcels. Chairman Sieglock suggested that this matter be continued to June 17, 2003 at

                                                #13  - Public Works Director Tom Flinn assured  Supervisor Gutierrez stated that Public Works was working closely with the Purchasing Department on this matter.

 

                                                #18 – Ben Hulse, Director of the Community Development Department, responded to Supervisor’s Mow’s question regarding the market, fiscal and financial analysis for this specific plan.

 

                                                #21 – Supervisor Gutierrez emphasized that the RFP’s need to be reviewed closer in order to avoid the situation whereby the private sector does not waste time and dollars.            Craig Ogata, Director of Facilities Management, stated that this item did not go through purchasing but through his department.

 

                                                #22 – Director of Facilities Management Director Craig Ogata and Steve Pinkerton, Director of Housing and Redevelopment Agency, City of Stockton, responded to questions and concerns expressed by Supervisors Gutierrez and Marenco.
