DISCUSSION - GENERAL GOVERNMENT

  1. bos - Consideration of Action to Adjust General Relief Housing Rental Rate Structure. Ralph Lee White, Nancy Barthlomew, and ToCan Nguyen addressed the Board of Supervisors on this matter. Approved Recommendation Option #3 to adjust the General Relief Rental Rate for the period September 1, 2001 – November 30, 2001 to the following:

$270/month – One person living unit, shared bath (usually a hotel-type setting)

$285/month - One person living unit, special residence

$292/month – One person living unit, a non-shared apartment with private bath and kitchen.

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS

Supervisor Bedford discussed the Logistics Auto Auction Project on Patterson Pass Road. The Board of Supervisors requested a response on an explanation of how drainage water from the Logistics Auto Auction Project on Patterson Pass Road (Mountain House Parkway) will be handled and its potential impacts on traffic flow and other issues. Public Works staff is to respond and report back to the Board of Supervisors.
