BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS

Supervisor Sieglock pointed out that Resolution R-01-406, Opposing the Proposed Construction of a Major Power Plant on the Border of San Joaquin County/Alameda County Line, passed by the Board on 6/26/01, was incorrect as he had voted “No”.  He requested that a corrected copy reflecting his “No” vote be sent to the California Energy Commission.  The Chairman directed the Clerk of the Board to handle the matter.

Supervisor Mow commented that as a result of redistricting it would appear that Supervisorial Distrcit Four would have three Planning Commissioners.  He requested that the impacts of reapportionment regarding the Planning Commission appointments be researched and the results be reported back to the Board.  County Counsel Terrence Dermody indicated that he would look into this matter and report back to the Board.
