PUBLIC COMMENT

Georgianna Reichert addressed the Board on various matters.

ToCan Nguyen addressed the Board on various matters.

Carey Madill, Public Affairs Director for PG&E updated the Board Members on what PG&E is doing this summer with respect to safety issues, conservation issues, and constituent preparation.  She also cited the programs available for low-income families, including the CARE Program.  Their Web site has been updated and includes the geographical maps of where rotating outages will be taking place.

 

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS

Supervisor Mow had expressed concern in regards to the proper process of the “lost and found” matter that was discussed, at the previous Board meeting.  The County Administrator will follow up with the Sheriff’s Department.

Supervisor Bedford voiced concern in regards to the proposed major power plant in Alameda, adjacent to 2 miles West of San Joaquin County.  He would like the Board to address this matter and how it is going to affect the San Joaquin County.  Referred to County Administrator to bring back on June 26, 2001.

Supervisor Sieglock, also commented on the proper process of the “lost and found” matter.  Additionally, he stated that he is a member of the Air Pollution Control District Board and has called to their attention the concerns of the proposed power plant.
