bos - Public Hearing Workshop on Reapportionment/Redistricting. The Board heard public comments from Bill St. Clair, Sylvia Kothe, and Rick Veldstra who also presented a map to the Board on the reapportionment /redistricting.

The Board requested County Counsel to provide copies of his July 13, 2000 letter addressed to the Board of Supervisors regarding supervisorial redistricting, to the Clerk of the Board Office, all city libraries, the public law library and to make copies available at the County Counsel’s Office.

The Chairman announced that the next step in the process would be on June 12, 2001 to introduce and waive reading of an ordinance pertaining to the reapportionment of supervisorial districts.
