PUBLIC COMMENT

Roger Hoffdath of Corn Products Inc addressed the regarding program logo and presented T-Shirts to the Board of Supervisors.

Michael Bennett, of the County Historical Society, addressed the Board regarding addendum to the Annual Report and updated the Board on the Living History Camp funded by the James Irvine Foundation. Mr. Bennett invited the Board Members to visit the museum to view the program in action.

 

 

 

 

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS

Supervisor Marenco referred Board Communication letter dated March 13, 2001 from Bonnie Long-Oliver, Regional Parole Administrator, of the State Department of Corrections Parole & Community Services Division, regarding State Building Notification Project #L0103013, to the County Administrator Office to respond to the Department of Corrections.

Supervisor Gutierrez discussed the matter of the recent fatalities that occurred on Highway 132 and expressed his concern of any future accidents that may take place in the area. He requested that Public Works Department carefully monitor the situation, with traffic safety as a priority, and to encourage CalTrans to do the same. Public Works Department is to report back to the Board at a later date with a status report.
