ToCan Nguyen addressed the Board on several matters.
Georgianna Reichert invited the Board Members on behalf of the American Legion to their Corn Beef and Cabbage on March 17, 2001 at 6:00 p.m., and addressed the Board on several matters.
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS
Supervisor Jack Sieglock requested a Resolution be sent by the Board to the Governor, State and Federal Legislators, and the President declaring an emergency in San Joaquin County regarding the standards for alternative fuels that can be utilized for processing of fruits and vegetables, due to the energy crisis that the State is facing. Chairman Marenco requested that documentation be brought back to the Board. Supervisor Sieglock stated he would request the District Executive of the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District draft a letter to be brought back to this Board for consideration.
Supervisor Steve Gutierrez had a question for David Baker, County Administrator, regarding Item #6 on the Consent Calendar in regards to a Travel Request reimbursement. Mr. Baker stated all out-of-state travel has to be brought to the Board according to Board Policy. Chairman Marenco would like to see what positions are Grant Funded.
