- fac/mgmt - Accept Micke Grove Domestic Water Status Report and Provide Staff Direction. Craig Ogata, Facilities Manager, Lori Cotulla, Program Manager of Environmental Health Department, and Donna Heran, Director of Environmental Health, addressed the Board on this matter. The Board accepted the status report and directed staff to continue with the installation of state approved, point-of-entry carbon filtration treatment systems for dibromochloropropane (DBCP) at the Park’s caretaker and campground host residential sites as a first priority, following up with additional filtration system installations at major park facilities; that shower heads located in County owned residences be capped off, and Park caretakers and the campground host be directed to discontinue water use for showering; that staff provide alternate housing for Micke Grove Park caretakers and the campground host while/until carbon filtration systems are installed and concentration levels of DBCP have been reduced to acceptable limits; and staff develop a recommendation for a long-term Micke Grove Park domestic water solution for Board of Supervisors consideration.
