Frank Alegre addressed the Board regarding illegal dumping by contractors & truckers in SJC and illegal truck parking in SJC. Matters referred to Public Works and Community Development Departments for review and report back to the Board.

Carey Madill, P.G.&E., addressed the Board regarding P.G.&E. Construction in Downtown Area to improve Downtown Reliability Construction Project.

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS

Chairman Cabral invited the Board to attend the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District's Symposium at the Ramada Inn in Modesto, CA, on September 15, 1999.

Supervisor Gutierrez requested the status on the CalWorks (Community-Based Organizations) matter discussed at the meeting of September 7, l999.
