10:00 a.m. - pio - Proclamation for March 15--21, 1998 as "Mediation Week" in San Joaquin County Presented to a Kathy Ewing, representing the Mediation Center of San Joaquin County.

 

10:00 a.m. - pio- Presentation of Proclamation for Women’s History Month to Marilyn Pasquini,

Stockton Branch, American Association of University Women. No one present for

this matter.

 

10:00 a.m. - pio - Professional Social Work Centennial Month Proclamation Proclaimed

March, 1998 in San Joaquin County as the 100th Anniversary of Professional

Social Work and Recognized the Contributions which Social Workers have made

to our Society. Proclamation presented to Carolyn Pometta and Shelly Troop.

 

10:00 a.m. - bos - Administrator Jose Rivara of Kaiser Permamente Presented $15,000 to

the Honorable Judge Rolleen McIlwrath for Drug Court.

 

At 10:27 a.m. Chairman Barber recessed the Board Meeting due to an electric power outage in the Courthouse which immobilized all electrical equipment in Board Chambers. The meeting

reconvened at 10:45 a.m. without power.

 

10:00 a.m. - pw - Public Hearing on Adoption of Franchise Ordinance for Delta Gas Gathering, Inc. Manuel Lopez, Deputy Director of Public Works, briefed the Board on this

matter. Pat Rogers, representing Delta Gas Gathering, spoke in favor of this franchise. No one spoke in opposition. APPROVED STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS, A COPY OF WHICH IS ON FILE IN THE CLERK
