SUPERVISORS BARBER, CABRAL, MARENCO, GUTIERREZ, SIMAS

Chairman Simas presented the opening remarks and welcomed the public.

David Baker, County Administrator, briefed the Board on the Health Care Services Review

Project.

Colleen Murphy, Project Manager of Mercer Inc., discussed phases of the Health Care Services Review Project and summarized Mercer=s health care experience with other counties.

Supervisor Barber reiterated the focus for the San Joaquin County Health Care Services Review into the record.

PUBLIC COMMENT

Greg Van Ness, President of the Greater Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce, addressed

the Board of Supervisors on the creditable process of this review.

Jerry Radeleff, representing SJPEA, addressed the Board regarding Mercer=s experience with

Merced County.

Kay De Geese, SJPEA representative; and Josie Camacho, Service Employees International Union; addressed the Board regarding public notification of these meetings.

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS

Supervisor Gutierrez addressed the audience and invited input, interest and participation.
