NAME: PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION
COMPENSATION: Mileage & actual and necessary expenses.
LEGAL AUTHORITY: Permissive by Government Code : SJC Ordinance #1055 dated 7/l9/63.
MEMBERSHIP, QUALIFICATIONS, & RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS: 7 Members appointed by the Board of Supervisors. At least 1 Member of the Commission shall reside in each of the Supervisorial Districts of the County. The Board shall select 2 Additional Members At-Large who shall reside within the County.
TERM: 4 Year Terms.
DUTIES: To assess & advise the Board of Supervisors.
MEETING DATE & LOCATION: 4th Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at Micke Grove Park, 11793 N. Micke Grove Road, Lodi, CA, and/or within the Various Supervisorial Districts.
