NAME: HOUSING AUTHORITY BOARD
COMPENSATION: $50.00 per Regular and/or Special Meeting & Actual Expenses when travel is involved, including mileage.
LEGAL AUTHORITY: California Health & Safety Code Section 34200.
MEMBERSHIP, QUALIFICATIONS, & RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS: Must be a resident of San Joaquin County. 1 Member must be a Tenant Over 65 Years of Age Registered with the Housing Authority; 1 Member Must be a Tenant Registered with the Housing Authority.
TERM: 5 Members are appointed for 4-Year Terms (1 from each Supervisorial District); & 2 Tenant Members are Appointed for 2-Year Terms.
DUTIES: To set policy for the operation of the Housing Authority of the County of San Joaquin. Certificates of Appointment are to be Filed with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.
MEETING DATE & LOCATION: 1st & 3rd Thursdays of each month at 4:00 p.m. at the Housing Authority, 448 S. Center Street, Stockton, CA, & Any Special Meetings called by the Chairperson of the Board.
