NAME: COLLEGEVILLE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
COMPENSATION: None; if out-of-town trips necessary, may be reimbursed for actual & necessary expenses.
LEGAL AUTHORITY: Fire Protection District Law of 1961 (Part 2.7 of Div. 12 of Health & Safety Code commencing with Sec. 13801).
MEMBERSHIP, QUALIFICATIONS, & RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS: 5 Members of the Board of Directors must live within the Fire District. Appointments are made by the Board of Supervisors.
TERM: 4 Year Terms.
DUTIES: To extinguish fires, set policy for the District, provide maintenance of equipment & purchases thereof.
MEETING DATE & LOCATION: 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Fire Station at the Northwest corner of Jack Tone & Mariposa Roads. Volunteers meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
