Allegiant Showgirl, Porsha at Stockton MetroAllegiant Air to Serve Phoenix-Mesa!

Beginning October 26, 2007, Allegiant Air will begin serving Phoenix-Mesa from Stockton Metro. The carrier will celebrate the convenient new service to Arizona with introductory fares as low as $59* each way. The self-proclaimed “Official Airline for Sunshine” will launch the new scheduled service from Stockton Metropolitan Airport to Williams Gateway Airport with two flights weekly. With service Monday and Friday, flights will depart Stockton at 9:05 a.m. arriving in Phoenix-Mesa at 11:55 a.m. Flights leaving Phoenix-Mesa will depart at 7:40 a.m. arriving in Stockton at 8:30 a.m. (all flight times are local). To take advantage of the low introductory rates, visit Allegiant Air.

June 16, 2006 marked the inaugural flight of Stockton Metro's newest travel partner, Allegiant Air. The Las Vegas-based airline has made a name for itself by focusing on affordable travel between non-hub markets and two of the country's most popular vacation destinations - Las Vegas and Orlando, Florida. With five flights weekly, Allegiant Air is a very attractive travel alternative to high-fare, congested gateways in the region.



The Stockton Metropolitan Airport is located on the Southern boundary of the city of Stockton in the heart of California's central valley. The airport is conveniently located between two major north-south thoroughfares; Interstate 5, 1.5 miles to the West, and State Highway 99, which borders the airport on the East side, view map. Situated on 1449 acres of land, the Stockton Metropolitan Airport has an 8,650 foot long, 150 foot wide primary ILS runway, with a take-off distance available of 11,037 feet. The Stockton Metropolitan Airport also has a 4,458 foot long, 75 foot wide general aviation runway. Six air carrier gates adjoin the 44,355 square foot terminal building. Just inside the main terminal entrance you will find the Top Flight Cafe & Catering Company. Savor one of the daily specials, and if the weather's nice, have your meal served on the patio where you can watch the airplanes land. Car Rental Counters Inside Terminal BuildingJust inside the main entrance of the terminal building is the Enterprise commercial truck rental counter. They have trucks ranging in size from pickups to 24 foot long box trucks. For further information or to reserve a truck prior to arrival call Enterprise Rent A Truck at (888) 736-8287 or (209) 234-3897. Located next to Enterprise is the Hertz Rent-A-Car counter. Currently no on-site rentals are being made however you can arrange to have a rental car delivered to the airport by calling them at (800) 654-3131 or (209) 460-0180. You can also reserve your vehicle online by following the links listed above.

Airport Police & Fire FacilityThe Stockton Metropolitan Airport also provides on-site police and fire protection for your safety. The Airport Police & Fire Department is a public safety department who's deputies are trained for crash, fire, rescue, & medical responses, as well as law enforcement responses. Duties include facility safety inspections, perimeter security, traffic enforcement, passenger screening LEO support, and lost & found services to name a few. To further enhance safety, the Airport Police & Fire Department serves as station # 2 to the Montezuma Fire District which is the structural fire department for the area.
