The San Joaquin County current year property tax roll is available online or by phone for inquiry or to make a payment by credit card or check.  This service for prior year taxes is not available by phone.  For lien or demand information, please call (209) 468-2133 or fax our office at (209) 468-9482. 

Please have your 8-digit PARCEL NUMBER (to search for both annual and supplemental bills) or 12-digit ASSESSMENT NUMBER from your tax bill(s) ready to enter.  You will receive a confirmation number when you finish (see disclaimer).

CONVENIENCE FEE:  If you pay your taxes online or by phone, a convenience fee is charged in addition to the property tax amount paid.  The credit card convenience fee is 2.5% of paid taxes.  The e-check convenience fee is $1.50.  Just before completing your transaction, the amount of the taxes and the cost of the convenience fee will be stated.  You will have the option NOT to complete the transaction at that time.

ONLINE INSTRUCTIONS: 

STEP 1:  After clicking on the box above, a new window will appear.  Enter the 8-digit PARCEL NUMBER (to search for both annual and supplemental bills) or 12-digit ASSESSMENT NUMBER from your tax bill and click the "Submit" button.

STEP 2:  After the search results appear, click on the bolded assessment you wish to view or pay.

STEP 3:  After the assessment appears, click on the checkbox under the amount due for the installment(s) you wish to pay and click the "Add to cart" button.

STEP 4:  Follow the subsequent on-screen instructions for payment.
