TREASURY
The County Treasurer receives and accounts
for approximately $2 billion, and the redemption of 1 million warrants per
annum. The warrants are received, accounted for and canceled each month.
The County Treasurer invests funds on a daily basis which generates
substantial earnings to the County and agencies depositing monies with the
Treasury. The average daily balance of the investment pool totals over
$400 million.
